Class Descriptions

Find a class that piques your interests. Axis' first class of the day is at 10:00 am, and the last class usually starts at 7:00 pm. Check out the schedule to find out when classes you're interested in are offered. You can purchase your class through the MindBody app. Find that you love taking classes at Axis? Beginner Pole

Beginner pole is a wonderful way to start your fitness journey. This class is for beginners and students who are looking to master basic pole moves.

Pole Fit

Pole Fit Classes will give you a workout while developing your skill. This class is meant to raise your heart rate and tone your body.

Pole Fluidity 

This class will focus on fluidity between movements. Make the things you've learned look eloquent, smooth, and fluid.

Elite Series

Crystal Belcher's Elite Pole Series is for elite polers only. Students will need to have extensive pole backgrounds before joining.

Master Series

Rachel Tisdale hosts this intense acrobatic pole class. Students are required to have permission to join.

Beginner Aerial Silks

Learn to defy gravity with this incredible art form while gaining strength and grace. This class will help develop your skills in this unique fitness activity.

Get even stronger on the silks in our intermediate trick based class. Aerial silks is an amazing full body workout.

 
 

Polga

POLE + YOGA = POLGA
Polga is a pole infused yoga class and will provide you with strength to advance in Yoga. Many classes are spent on the flexibility and strength behind a specific pole move and the pole is used as a prop to enhance or deepen the stretch. Use the pole in Yoga positions to stabilize your body, increase balance and mobility.

Lyra

The lyra is a circular steel apparatus (resembling a hulahoop) suspended from the ceiling, on which circus artists may perform aerial acrobatics. It can be used static, spinning, or swinging. Learn moves on the Lyra and gain strength in an unconventional way.

Cube

The aerial cube incorporates a large, hollow, and side-less cube that is suspended while the student moves within. Learn various holds and poses on this unique apparatus. 

 

Flexibility

The better your flexibility is the easier aerial arts are. Flexibility is a wonderful tool to gain beauty and polish your posture. Flexibility Classes will increase your body movement capability for aerial and pole.

 

Straps

Straps, also known as aerial straps, are either a cotton or nylon web apparatus that looks like two suspended ribbons. By wrapping the strap ends around hands and wrists, the performer performs holds, twists, rolls and maneuvers, requiring extreme strength and precision similar to rings in gymnastics.
